Dr. Kaylie Shaver

Veterinarian & Practice Owner

Dr. Kaylie Shaver brings over 18 years of experience in the veterinary field, having started her career as an assistant immediately following high school. She earned her bachelor's degree in Biology from the College of Idaho in 2011 and went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University in 2020. She then earned her Master's in Public Health from the University of Missouri in 2021.

Dr. Shaver loves all aspects of veterinary medicine but especially enjoys geriatric care and internal medicine. She is so excited to be able to specialize in feline only medicine and provide the best possible care and veterinary experience to each of her feline patients and their family members! Dr. Shaver is certified as a Feline Friendly Veterinarian by the Feline Veterinary Medical Association and is currently working towards her board certification in Feline Medicine.

When she's not working, Dr. Shaver enjoys spending time with her husband, Tyler on their small farm where they have five dogs, six cats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, goats, horses and honey bees. She also enjoys hiking, gardening, baking, and competes in scentwork sports with her very talented (and cat loving!) dachshund, LuAnne.

Outside of her veterinary work, Jocelyn enjoys watercolor painting, camping, and spending time by the water.

Hope

Assistant

Hope began her journey in veterinary medicine in 2005, driven by her passion for improving the well-being of pets. She specializes in stress-free handling techniques, ensuring comfort and care for animals. One of her greatest joys in working with cats is discovering their distinct and unique personalities. At home, Hope shares her life with two cats, Danny and Spade, two dogs, Ethel and Kade, and a snake. Outside of her veterinary work, she loves camping and embracing the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

Stephanie

Assistant

Stephanie has over 20 years of veterinary experience, dividing her time between our practice and Pet Orthopedics. Her true passion lies in working with cats, ensuring their needs and personalities are always well understood. As our go-to organizer, she keeps everything in order. When she's not at work, Stephanie enjoys gardening, restoring antiques, and spending time with her cat, Stewart.

Amelia

Assistant/Receptionist

Amelia has been passionate about veterinary medicine since 2021 and is actively working toward earning her veterinary technician license. What excites her most about the field is the endless learning opportunities and the chance to connect with both animals and their owners. At home, she’s accompanied by her cat, Toe Beans, and her Border Collie, Lettie Spaghetti. In her downtime, she enjoys baking, hiking, and skiing.

Emalee

She excels at bonding with our more spirited cats, handling them with warmth and patience. At home, she shares her space with two fish, one shrimp, and three cats—Karma, Autumn, and Charcoal. In her free time, she enjoys gaming, reading, and quilting.

Allie

Weekend & Holiday Boarding Care Taker

Allie has been passionate about veterinary medicine since 2016 and joined our team in 2023 as a weekend and holiday boarding caretaker. She loves getting to know the unique personalities of each cat and cherishes the moments when she can give hugs to the ones who enjoy them. Outside of work, Allie loves reading and spending quality time with her two cats, Tigger and Roo.

Harriet Stubman

Official Clinic Cat

Harriett joined our team in October 2024 as our resident feline receptionist. While she’s still working on her phone manners and client communications, she excels at greeting visitors with a friendly "hello"! She may not have much to say to our patients yet, but we're sure she'll come around. When she's not welcoming guests, you can find her lounging in her cat tree or chasing after her favorite spring toy. Harriett loves attention, so be sure to stop by and give her a little love when you visit!
