Cats Only - Bark Free!

Cats are cautious in nature and not exposed to new surroundings very often. We try to make their visits as fear free as possible.

Meet Our Team!

Patrick Carter, DVM

Owner, Veterinarian

In 1995, Dr. Pat Carter took over Spokane Cat Clinic, a cats-only practice founded by Dr. Neil Wittrock in 1984. Why just cats? Dr. Carter enjoys the feline species and feels it is most important for the cats to have as comfortable a clinic as possible. He focuses all of his continuing education on cats only. (Besides, the cats who come here tell us they appreciate our cats-only policy!)

Dr. Carter and his wife have lived in this area for many years and some of the activities they enjoy include spending time with their grandchildren and traveling.

Sarah Patterson, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Sarah Patterson grew up on a wheat farm in NE Montana. Throughout high school she worked in the local vet clinic as a technician. She earned her BS in Microbiology and then continued her education at Washington State University, where she earned her DVM degree. She has two sons and two daughters with her husband, along with one dog and one cat.

Jocelyn M

Hospital Manager

Jocelyn is our Practice Manager here at the clinic. She has been with us since April 2006 and has worked almost exclusively in feline only practices since 2001. Jocelyn is especially interested in feline behavior issues after dealing with a few of her trouble makers at home several years ago!  She is owned by two kitties - Clark and Amigo.

April M

April is our lead boarding caretaker. She loves looking after our many "regulars" and has gotten to know many of our patients very well since she joined the team in 2021. She has three cats, Karma, Charcoal, and Autumn.

Glenna M

Lead Receptionist

Glenna has been with Spokane Cat Clinic since 2021. She has many years of rescue experience under her belt, and has fostered over 400 cats over the years! She has a special fondness for our senior patients, and has several of her own at home.

Halle S

Veterinary Assistant

Halle has a background in rescue work, and continues to foster local cats in need. She joined us in 2022 and has been a skilled, compassionate, and cheerful addition to our team.

Allie P

Allie has been with us September 2023 and takes care of our boarders on weekends and holidays. We are so lucky to have such a skilled caretaker like her!
